Membership types

Full membership

The annual subscription of £10 entitles you to:

· Free entry on open days (for named person only)
· 10% discount in the souvenir shop
· Priority booking for special events
· Right to vote at the AGM and any EGM’s
- Access to Members area of website - Images from recent open days and Events, Image Archives from past years, News, Discussion Forum, On-Line research material and more!

Associate membership

For partners and children of full members.
The annual subscription of £5 entitles you to free admission on open days and to priority booking for special events. No discount is available from the souvenir shop and associate membership carries no voting right.

Veteran membership

Anyone who served in Coalhouse Fort when it was a military establishment is entitled to all Full Membership benefits, with no subscription.

The membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December, but anyone joining on or after 1st September does not renew until the end of the next year.

Affiliated Corps

Various groups help with interpretation and display within the fort. If you are interested in joining any of these groups, you must contact them directly and agree to abide by their rules and meet any entrance requirements they may have.

How to complete:

1. Click the above link, the form will open in a new browser window.
2. You will notice a number of form fields highlighted in pale blue, simply click in the first field (name) and type your full name. Having completed this fiels use the Tab key to take you to the next field and again type your details. Continue like this until all fields are completed.
3. When all filed are completed, you will notice a Grey button on the bottom right of the page click this and your printer dialogue box will open, choose print as normal to print a copy of the form, you may wish to select multiple copies to keep for your own records.
4. If you require to simply download a copy of the form for a friend or relation you can always just click the print form to print out a blank form
5. When printed simply sign in the required areas (2) and post to the address shown on the form.
6. SECURITY NOTE: Close the window to return to the Society pages, when you complete the form on line no information is stored on any remote computer.
