The team at Coalhouse Fort host paranormal investigations of the location on most Saturday nights of the year.

Whether you:
have your own group and wish to conduct your own investigation,
an events company wishing to hold an event
or just a member of the public that would like to attend an overnight paranormal investigation at the fort?

We are here to cater for your needs. With over four years of experience in overnight events and more than 100 investigations carried out at the fort we pride ourselves in the level of service and expertise provided at one of the countries top paranormal locations.
Please be aware that the paranormal team at Coalhouse Fort cannot promise that you will experience anything paranormal. However, so far the fort has never failed to provide us with extraordinary nights. So much so that most our visitors return time and time again. We can promise you that whatever you experience will be 100% real and that we will do our best to unsure you enjoy your visit with us.

Group and Company Events
Dates are available on request and run from March to November. The minimum booking fee is £500.00 (please contact us for a full price structure). A £250.00 deposit will be required to hold your requested date. Payable within 14 days of your enquiry. Groups/companies will require public liability insurance.
Maximum of 30 attendees per event.
Events run strictly from 8pm Saturdays to 4am Sundays.
On-site parking, toilet facilities, and hot refreshments are provided throughout your stay.
Due to the nature of the building and areas used in these events, Coalhouse Fort is only suitable for those who are healthy and able bodied. It is not suitable for those suffering from claustrophobia or severe asthma.

Public Events
The Coalhouse Fort Paranormal Team hold their own overnight paranormal investigations of the fort on several dates throughout the year. These dates are listed below.
If you would like to join us on these events, please contact us directly. Places are £45.00 per person and strictly over 18’s. Full payment is required within 14 days of your enquiry. The evenings run from 8pm until 4am the following morning.
You will work alongside professional and experienced investigators and some of the countries leading psychic mediums. As well as carrying out vigils in various parts of the fort you will also receive training in the use of the latest paranormal equipment and methods. The use of all equipment is included in your booking fee. You will also work closely with our mediums in various psychic workshops. The night will also include a full history tour of the fort and in the summer months this will include access to the roof to experience the incredible views (weather permitting).
On-site parking, toilet facilities, and hot refreshments are provided throughout your stay. Due to the nature of the building and areas used in these events,

You will be required to bring a torch, sturdy footwear and plenty of warm clothing. Please feel free to bring your camera. The paranormal team cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to clothing whist experiencing paranormal activity.

Special Events and Requests
If you have any requirements that are not listed above?
Please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request where possible. If you are a small group and find the booking fee’s beyond your means?
We can put you in contact with other small groups who may be willing to share the evening and the cost.
From time to time we may run shorter evenings on other nights of the week. These run from 7pm to 12am. Prices and details available on request.

Haunted Tunnels tours are available on most of our open days at an additional cost of £2 per person on your admission fee.


All proceeds from the above events go towards the restoration of Coalhouse Fort.
