Guided Tours conducted by a group of volunteers, give an in depth insight for you to learn about the history, how the fort was used and why it was built at this site. It will take you on a safe and informative tour of the building and of normally out of bounds areas to the general public, including The Magazines (know by most children as dungeons) - The Roof area where you will see some magnificent views over the river, and Casemate areas. Each tours last approximately 45 to 50 minutes

The cost of the tour is in with the entry price to the fort.

Coalhouse fort is renowned for it’s Paranormal activity. Over the years project members and experts alike have all seen and experienced many unexplained sightings and events.
This tour will take you on an extensive tunnel tour and to the areas of particular prevalence. You will learn what has been seen, heard and felt! At the end of the tour you will also be told about the investigations run by The Paranormal Team and be offered the opportunity to attend one of our regular Paranormal Evenings that are regularly held throughout the year (fees apply).
